Is the American Light Weight Stone Veneer real stone?
InfinitiStone light weight stones products are manufactured (man made) stones, with various advantages over natural stone.

Does the colour go all the way through?
Yes! A base colour is blended throughout the entire product. Colour overtones are applied and integrated into the product during the cast process. Since every stone is handmade, colours may vary slightly from sample board.

What are InfinitiStone  made of?
InfinitiStone   are cast in molds taken from hand selected natural stone, using which captures the finest details. Each colour and texture uses a unique blend of cement aggregates and iron oxide pigments

How heavy are the InfinitiStone  products?
The weight varies by styles. The approximate weight is 30-60 kilograms per square meter depending on the product selected.

What is the average thickness of InfinitiStone  Products?
Average thickness is 2-5 centimeter, depending on textures.

Can InfinitiStone  Products be cut?
Yes! InfinitStone  Products are easily cut or trimmed using a hatchet or wide-mouth nipper. You may also use a hand held grinder with a masonary blade.

What kind of surface is necessary in order to be use?
InfinitiStone products may be adhered to any prepared, clean, untreated, structurally sound wall surfaces. this includes Wallboards, Plywood, Paneling, Wall Sheathing, Concrete/Cement Board or masonry walls. Please refer to our installation instructions for further information.

Can InfinitiStone  products be used on walk-ways or patios?
Yes! There are certain products which is designed to walk on. Please consult your dealer, or contact us, we will be happy to assist you.

Can InfinitiStone  products be used on wall area adjacent to swimming pools?
InfinitiStone  products will perform the same as any other quality lightweight concrete material. Although, it should be taken into consideration with any concrete or natural material, continued exposure to chlorine and other chemicals may eventually affect the coloration of the products. When frequently exposed to water, we recommend protection with a non-film breathable masonry sealer.

Should I colour the mortar?
InfinitiStone  product applications are enhanced when mortar is tinted to accompany or match the stone colour using iron oxide mortar colours available.

Will InfinitiStone  Products fade?
Colours is an integrated part of the InfinitiStone   products during the casting process. Existing applications show no undesirable colour change after years of various weather conditions.

How do I install the products?
Use mortar or premixed adhesives. Please refer to our install guide.

How is InfinitiStone  products sold?
Flat pieces are sold by the square meter, Corner pieces are in linear meter, hearth pieces and trim products are sold by piece or square meter depend on the item.

How are InfinitiStone  products packaged?
Depending on the item chosen, but most comes in sizes within an m2. The item that comes corner pieces are boxed in lineal meters.

Can InfinitiStone  products be used on both exterior and interior applications?
Yes! InfinitiStone  products are suitable for both applications. They allow you to bring the outdoors inside as well as emphasizing your design and continuity in your colour and texture schemes.

What maintenance is required for Infinitistone  products if any?
Periodic washing to remove surface dust and debris is all that is require. Most InfinitStone  products are virtually maintenance free.

Can we seal the stone?
It is not required to seal the stone. If you choose to use a sealer, use only Silane or Siloxane based penetrating breathable sealer. Note: A sealer may affect the stone colour and create a sheen, so always test a small area beforehand.

Product Colour Variations
Our manufactured product is reconstructed stone utilising naturally occurring aggregates, therefore no guarantee can be given that paving or walling manufactured at different times will be identical in colour shade.
When using several packs of product we advise that product is selected from each pack at the onset of the project, thus producing an acceptable overall natural appearance.

Limitations of Photographic Process
Colour variations are evident in all manufactured and natural stone products and whilst the colours reproduced in this website are as accurate as photographic processes allow, it is essential that your choice is made from actual materials at your local stockist.
